SIT-IN BRUGES 2020 – Friday 25 September

from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

in the Magdalena Church, Schaarstraat in Bruges

Silence for peace is a peace initiative in response to the turmoil in the world and the high level of tension between people, peoples and religions.

Everyone is invited to sit together in silence for a short or longer period of time during the sit-in.

Every minute in silence connects you with the world, with the other and with yourself.

Everyone who wants to contribute to world peace is invited.

When the weather is good we will sit on the square in front of the church, when the weather is bad we will sit in the church.

The corona measures are respected.

Registration is not necessary.

Silence for peace is one of the many initiatives within Peace Week.

The theme of the Bruges Peace Week is ‘Bruges(n) for peace’ and will run from Saturday 19 September to Friday 2 October 2020.
